Project Illuminate was a summer internship sponsored by the research department at Philips Lighting. In a multidisciplinary team comprised of a designer, two engineers, and a business developer, we developed an integrated concept leveraging VLC (Visible Light Communication) to increase customer engagement in retail spaces.

We designed a central hub and initial touch point for end users, connecting them to services enabled by the seamless integration of the retail lighting ecosystem into the wireless communication infrastructure.
